Alan Dow, MD, MSHA is the Ruth and Seymour Perlin Tenured Professor of Medicine and Health Administration at Virginia Commonwealth University. He directs the Center for Interprofessional Education and Collaborative Care through which over 2000 learners and 100 faculty participate in interprofessional programs annually. He has led work in sharing best practices from across health and social care disciplines to support the public health community’s response to the COVID19 pandemic. Alan attended medical school at Washington University and completed residency in internal medicine and a health administration degree at VCU. He speaks and lectures to health and corporate leadership groups across the globe on integrating public health into workspace culture and employee mindsets.
